It was one of the biggest snow storms Philadelphia has ever seen. The snow was up past my waist, and it was record-breaking in John's hometown of Abington, just miles outside of Philadelphia.
This is a 'before' image, only two days before the first storm.

After one day of constant snowfall, this bird's a bit confused, shouldn't it have migrated by now?

The third day, the power had gone out at our house by now...more than once.
It was perfect weather for a fire in the fireplace :)
I read a lot while being snowed in :)
