Palma de Mallorca, Spain

One of the last stops on our Mediterranean cruise...Palma de Mallorca, Spain! It was a gorgeous island, and we enjoyed it :)

 Windmill

Loved these...weeds? wheat? Not sure what that is.

Another windmill

Our Lady, Notre Dame of Mallorca

Close up view of that beautiful window

Our Lady again

  One more of the exterior

And now, the gorgeous interior of Our Lady Cathedral of Mallorca!

Almost the same image, but had to post since the colors of the stained glass windows are so nice. The church was huge inside, and so lovely.

One last interior view, from the back of the cathedral.

And to finish up the Europe series, Barcelona is next!! :)

Roma

Beautiful, ancient, rich Rome. This post is super late (as are the next few of Europe...but come on, getting a Masters is tough work ;)  ), hope you all enjoy it anyway! :D

Beginning with one of Rome's most recognizable icons: The Coliseum

More Coliseum

Love the lamps and shutters

The Trevi Fountain

Famous dessert, tartufo, a chocolate ice cream ball. Tre Scalini, in one of the main piazzas, is very well known for theirs. It was delicious!

The next few are from the Vatican - the world's smallest country (yes, it's its own country!)

The ceilings were gorgeous, so ornate.

Powerful sculpture

Stay tuned for my last two posts of Europe, both from the lovely country of Spain!
